Your account

Lazga uses Apple or Google to sign you in. We receive the account identifier, and your name and email when provided. Your public profile shows your display name, emirate and the date you joined. Your email is not displayed to other members. For Apple sign-in, an encrypted authorisation token is retained so Lazga can revoke access when you delete your account. If Apple is temporarily unavailable, revocation is retried after deletion.

Your listings and plate

Listing text, price, location and uploaded photos are visible to signed-in members. A car or bike plate added for lookup is always hidden from other members, even if it was marked public in an earlier app version. Anyone who already knows that plate’s emirate, type, code and number can look up its active vehicle listing. A number plate advertised for sale is shown to signed-in members.

Photos

Only photos you choose are uploaded. Photos are resized and re-encoded to remove embedded metadata. A visible number plate, address or person within a photo is still visible; cover or crop anything you do not want to share before uploading.

Messages and reports

Messages are stored by Lazga and shared with the other participant. They are not end-to-end encrypted. Reports and related content can be reviewed to address abuse. Your phone number is not automatically shared. Choose carefully what personal information you put in a message.

Storage and deletion

Data is stored on Lazga’s server. Mobile sessions use device secure storage. The website uses an essential, HttpOnly session cookie and stores your appearance, language and listing-view preferences in browser storage. Google supplies its sign-in interface on the sign-in page. You can export your account information or delete your account from Profile. Deletion removes your profile details, listings and uploaded photos from the live service. Your messages are replaced with a removal notice; conversation records remain for the other participant. Earlier copies may remain in backups.

Connection and device settings

An internet connection is required for listings, uploads and messages. Your appearance, language and listing-view preferences are stored on your device. Lazga does not request location access, access your contacts or include advertising trackers. Messages and ad-review updates appear in the app. If you enable phone notifications, Firebase Cloud Messaging and Apple Push Notification service deliver generic alerts without your message text or plate number. Device tokens are encrypted on Lazga’s server and removed when you sign out or delete your account. Notification history is retained for up to 90 days and is included in your account export. The website shows alerts while it is open; it does not send background push notifications.

Listing review

Authorised Lazga administrators review listing text and photos before approval. Review feedback is shared with the seller, and the decision history is retained for moderation. Private plate lookup details remain hidden in the review portal except when the ad is selling the number plate itself. Review-note text is removed when the listing or seller account is deleted.

Website testing and contact

Lazga is in early access. Google sign-in is currently limited to approved test accounts. The support@lazga.ae mailbox is not operating yet; account deletion remains available directly from Profile.
